Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 1234567ACGRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, downtown 12 trains skip 66th, 59th, and 50th Streets due to track chip-out north of 42nd Street-Times Square and station rehabilitation at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, there is no 3 train service between 148th Street and 96th Street due to installation communications equipment north of 96th Street station. Customers may take the M7, M102 or the shuttle bus between 135th and 148th Streets instead.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, Brooklyn-bound 34 trains run express from Atlantic Avenue to Utica Avenue due to installation communications equipment north of 96th Street station.

At all times until July 16, Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations are closed for rehabilitation. Free shuttle bus service is available to adjacent stations.

From 6 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, Bronx-bound 4 trains skip Fordham Road, Bedford Park Blvd. and Mosholu Parkway due to station rehabilitation at Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1, Bronx-bound 4 trains run express from 149th Street to Burnside Avenue due to cable work at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium and 167th Street stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2 (and following weekends through May 14), uptown 45 trains skip Fulton Street due to Fulton Transit Center construction.

From 4 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 1 (and weekends through April 8), Manhattan-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to Hunts Point Avenue due to track panel installation south of Parkchester station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2, there is no 7 train service between Woodside-61st Street and Times Square due to switch replacement and signal work between 33rd Street Rawson Street and Queensboro Plaza stations. Free shuttle buses are available. Customers should take the EF or R at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue for service to Manhattan.

AC
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2 (and weekends from April 14-16 to May 5-7), A trains run local between 168th Street and Canal Streets. There is no C train service. Shuttle buses replace AC trains between Utica Avenue and Jay Street. This is due to track and roadbed replacement in downtown Brooklyn. *Note: There will be normal AC service during Easter Weekend April 7-9.

G
From 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 30 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 2 (and weekends through May 28), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to switch replacement and signal work between 33rd Street-Rawson Street and Queensboro Plaza stations.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
