Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 123457ACDFGJNRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, downtown 1 trains skip 238th, 231st, 225th, 215th, and 207th Streets due to repair of the elevated structure.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, free shuttle buses replace 2 trains between 96th Street and 149th Street-Grand Concourse due to track switch replacement. Customers should take the 5 between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and 241st Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, there is no 3 train service due to track switch replacement. Customers should take the 2 45 and free shuttle buses for alternative service.

At all times until Monday, November 12, Manhattan-bound 4 trains skip Mosholu Parkway due to station rehabilitation.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, 5 trains run in two sections due to track switch replacement:

- Between Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street and

- Between East 241st Street and Bowling Green

From 4 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 10 p.m. Sunday, November 11, free shuttle buses replace 7 trains between Main Street and Willets Point due to switch replacement work at Willets Point.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, there is no C train service due to station renovation at 59th Street-Columbus Circle. A trains run local from 168th Street to Euclid Avenue.

D

From 11 p.m., Friday, November 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12 (and weekends through December 3), Bronx-bound D trains run express from 145th Street to Fordham Road due to track/roadbed replacement at 161st Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, downtown D trains run on the A from 59th Street to West 4th Street due to station renovation at 47th-50th Sts/Rockefeller Center.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, D trains run in two sections due to station renovation at 47th-50th Sts/Rockefeller Center.

- Between 205th Street and Broadway-Lafayette and

- Between Broadway-Lafayette and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, Manhattan-bound F trains skip Sutphin, Van Wyck Blvds. and 75th Avenue due to cable and electrical work.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, Queens-bound F trains run on the V from 47th-50th Streets to Roosevelt Avenue due to structural work.

From 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, there are no G trains between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to structural work. Customers may take the E or R instead.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, there is no G train service between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Smith-9ths Sts. due to structural work. Customers may take the A to Jay Street and transfer to the F.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, G trains run in two sections due to structural work:

- Between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avs. and

- Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs. and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11, Manhattan-bound J trains skip Flushing Avenue, Lorimer and Hewes Streets due to track repairs.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, Manhattan-bound N trains run on the D from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street (Brooklyn) due to track panel replacement.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, Brooklyn-bound NR trains are rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue due to structural work.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 12, Manhattan-bound R trains run express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenues due to cable and electrical work.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continues to build on the WTC site.
