Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service On the 12367ACDFGJMNRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, 1 trains skip 28th, 23rd, and 18th Streets in both directions due to work on the Cortlandt Street underpinning.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, there are no 1 trains between 14th Street and South Ferry due to work on the Cortlandt Street underpinning. Customers may take the 2 or 3 between 14th Street and Chambers Street. Free shuttle buses run between Chambers Street and South Ferry.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, downtown 23 trains run on the local 1 track from 96th Street to Chamber Street due to work on the Cortlandt Street underpinning.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, uptown 23 trains run express from Chambers to 34th Streets, then local on the 1 track from Times Square to 96th Street due to a concrete pour north of 14th Street station.

From 4 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 10 p.m. Sunday, November 18, Bronx-bound 6 trains run express from Hunts Point Avenue to Parkchester due to track panel installation south of Parkchester-East 177th Street station. The last stop for some Bronx-bound 6 trains is 125th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, the NQS and free shuttle buses replace 7 train service between Times Square and Queensboro Plaza due to tunnel installation of communications equipment, signal removals south of 33rd Street-Rawson Street, and track work south of Queensboro Plaza.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Manhattan-bound 7 trains skip 52nd, 46th, 40th, and 33rd Streets due to tunnel installation of communications equipment, signal removals south of 33rd Street-Rawson Street, and track work south of Queensboro Plaza.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, shuttle trains replace A service between Far Rockaway and Rockaway Blvd. due to test train equipment installation and test train run south of Howard Beach-JFK station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, uptown AC trains skip Spring, 23rd and 50th Streets due to cable work north of West 4th Street station.

From 11 p.m., Friday, November 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19 (and weekends through December 3), Bronx-bound D trains run express from 145th Street to Fordham Road due to track/roadbed replacement at 161st Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Coney Island-bound D trains run express from 9th Avenue (Sunset Park) to Coney Island/Stillwell Avenue due to switch renewal south of 9th Avenue station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 7 a.m. Sunday, November 18, Manhattan-bound F trains skip Ft. Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street/Prospect Park, and 4th Avenue due to cable installation south of 36th Street station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Manhattan-bound F trains run on the V from Roosevelt Avenue to 47th-50th Streets due to signal and ADA work north of Ditmas Avenue station.

From 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, there are no G trains between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to structural work. Customers may take the E or R instead.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, Queens-bound J trains skip Hewes Street, Lorimer Street, and Flushing Avenue, due to track repairs.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, free shuttle buses replace M trains between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue/Broadway due to platform repairs between Wyckoff Ave. and Central Ave. stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Coney Island-bound N trains skip Avenue U and 86th Street due to asbestos abatement in manholes between Kings Highway and 86th Street stations.

NR
From 1 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Brooklyn-bound NR trains are rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue due to structural work.

R
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, November 19, Manhattan-bound R trains run express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenues due to cable and electrical work.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continues to build on the WTC site.
