Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 1247ACEFGNRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 p.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, uptown 12 trains skip 50th, 59th, and 66th Streets due to station rehabilitation at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

At all times until July 16, Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations are closed for rehabilitation. Free shuttle bus service is available to adjacent stations.

From 6 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 10 p.m. Sunday, May 20, Manhattan-bound 4 trains skip Mosholu Parkway and Bedford Park Blvd. due to switch renewal north of Bedford Park Blvd. station. In addition, Manhattan-bound 4 trains skip Fordham Road due to station rehabilitation work at 183rd Street and Kingsbridge Road stations.

From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, Manhattan-bound 7 trains run express from Willets Point-Shea Stadium to Woodside-61st Street due to wayside signal equipment installation between Woodside-61st Street and 82nd Street stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, shuttle buses replace A trains between Howard Beach-JFK and the Rockaways due to track panel installation between Beach 90th Street and Howard Beach stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, shuttle buses replace A trains between 207th and 168th Street. There are no C trains between 145th Street and 168th Street. This is due to track tunnel rehabilitation between 145th Street and 207th Street.

ER

From 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, Queens-bound ER trains run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Avenue due to a track chip-out north of Queens Plaza station.

F

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, Coney Island-bound F trains run express from Jay Street to Church Street due to cable work between Bergen Street and Ditmas Avenue.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, Queens-bound F trains run on the V line from 47th-50th Streets Roosevelt Avenue due to track conduit work between Lexington Avenue and 21st Street-Queensbridge.

G

From 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21 (and weekends through May 28), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to a track chip-out north of Queens Plaza station. Customers should take the E or R. In addition, G trains run every 20 minutes between Court Square and Smith-9th Sts.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, there are no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Smith-9th Sts. due to cable work between Bergen Street and Ditmas Avenue.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, G trains run in two sections due to cable work between Bergen Street and Ditmas Avenue:
Between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 19 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 21, Manhattan-bound N trains run on the D line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street due to track panel installation between 59th and 86th Street stations.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
