Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 146ACEFGLNRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15 (and weekends through February 5), downtown 1 trains skip 28th, 23rd, and 18th Streets due to station rehabilitation at Chambers Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, downtown 1 trains skip 125th, 116th, 110th and 103rd Streets due to track chip out and concrete pour at 110th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15 (and weekends through February 5), there is no 1 train service between 14th Street and South Ferry due to station rehabilitation at Chambers Street station.

At all times until Saturday, January 27, uptown 4 trains skip Mosholu Parkway due to station rehabilitation.

From 4 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 10 p.m. Sunday, January 14 (and the following two weekends, Jan 20-21 and 27-28), shuttle buses replace 6 trains between Pelham Bay Park and Parkchester due to switch renewal and panel installation south of Pelham Bay Park station.

AE
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, uptown A trains skip Spring, 23rd, and 50th Streets, uptown E trains skip Spring and 23rd Streets due to rail work between West 4th Street and 42nd Street stations.

AC
From 5 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 11 p.m. Sunday, January 14 (and weekends through Feb 18), there is no C train service due to track chip out south of 2nd Avenue station. A trains will make all local stops except where noted.

EF
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, Manhattan-bound EF trains run express from Union Turnpike to Roosevelt Avenue due to duct work south of Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, Manhattan-bound F trains skip Fort Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street-Prospect Park, and 4th Avenue due to maintenance activities between Church Avenue and 4th Avenue-9th Street stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15 (and weekends through Feb 19), Brooklyn-bound F trains run on the A line from West 4th Street to Jay Street due to track chip out south of 2nd Avenue station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, Queens-bound F trains run on the V line from 47th-50th Streets to Roosevelt Avenue due to electrical and steel barrier work between 47th-40th Sts. and 21st Street-Queensbridge stations.

From m 8:30 p.m. Friday, January 12 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15 (and weekends through Feb 12), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to duct work south of Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15 (and the following weekend Jan 20-22), shuttle buses replace G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs. and ACF Jay Street station due to multiple installations between Bergen Street and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue stations.

From 8 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 14, L trains run in two sections due to switch work between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway:

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, Brooklyn-bound N trains run on the R line from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue due to installation of communications equipment between DeKalb Avenue and 36th Street stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, January 15, Manhattan-bound R trains run express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue due to duct work south of Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue stations.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
