Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 234567ACDEFGJRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5 (and the following weekend Mar 10-12), there is no 2 train service between Atlantic Avenue and Chambers Street. There is no 3 train service. This is due to station rehab at Chambers Street station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5 (and the following weekend Mar 10-12), uptown 5 trains replace 2 trains from Chambers Street to 149th Streets. Uptown 2 trains replace 5 trains from Bowling Green to 149th Street due to station rehab at Chambers Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, Manhattan-bound 4 trains skip Kingsbridge Rd., Fordham Rd. and 183rd Street due to asbestos abatement at 183rd Street and Kingsbridge Road stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5 (and following weekends through March 26), there is no 7 train service between Times Square and Woodside-61st Street due to switch replacement and signal work between 33rd Street Rawson Street and Queensboro Plaza stations. Customers should take the EF or R at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue instead.

AE
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, uptown AE trains skip Spring Street, 23rd Street and 50th Street due to station rehabilitation at 59th Street.

AC
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, there is no C train service due to a concrete pour south of 2nd Avenue station. A trains will make all local stops between 168th Street and Euclid Avenue except where indicated.

D
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 3, Manhattan-bound D trains run express from Bay Parkway to 62nd Street due to rail work between Bay Parkway and 62nd Street stations.

From 11 p.m. Friday, March 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, Bronx-bound D trains run express from 145th Street to Fordham Road due to installation of antenna for police radio system north of 167th Street.

EF
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, Manhattan-bound E trains skip Van Wyck Blvd. Manhattan-bound F trains skip Sutphin and Van Wyck Blvds. due to ADA work at Union Turnpike station.

F
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 3 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, Brooklyn-bound F trains run on the A line from West 4th Street to Jay Street due to concrete pour south of 2nd Avenue station.

G
From 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 2 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 5, there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to track chip out north of Nassau Avenue station.

J
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, J trains run every 24 minutes between Chambers Street and Broadway Junction due to rail work on the Williamsburg Bridge.

RW
The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
