Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 234567ACDGNRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, there is no 2 train service between Atlantic Avenue and Chambers Street. There is no 3 train service. This is due to station rehab at Chambers Street station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, uptown 5 trains replace 2 trains from Chambers Street to 149th Streets. Uptown 2 trains replace 5 trains from Bowling Green to 149th Street due to station rehab at Chambers Street.

At all times until July 16, Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations are closed for rehabilitation. Free shuttle bus service is available to adjacent stations.

From 4 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 11 (and weekends through April 8), Manhattan-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to Hunts Point Avenue due to track panel installation south of Parkchester station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12 (and following weekends through April 2), there is no 7 train service between Times Square and Woodside-61st Street due to switch replacement and signal work between 33rd Street Rawson Street and Queensboro Plaza stations. Customers should take the EF or R at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue instead.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, Brooklyn-bound A trains run on the F line from West 4th to Jay Street due to signal modernization work at Chambers Street station.

AC
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, there is no C train service due to signal modernization work at Chambers Street station. A trains will make all local stops between 168th Street and Euclid Avenue except where indicated.

D
From 11 p.m. Friday, March 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, Bronx-bound D trains skip 155th Street due to a track chip-out north of 155th Street station.

D
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, Manhattan-bound D trains run on the N line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street due to communications work north of 9th Avenue station.

G
From 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12 (and weekend through May 28), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to concrete pour north of Nassau Avenue station.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 12, Brooklyn-bound N trains run on the R from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue due to communications work between DeKalb Avenue and 36th Street stations.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
