Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 3456ACDFGRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, there is no 3 train service between 96th and 148th Streets due to communications work between 96th Street and 110th Street station. Customers should take the M7, M102, or shuttle bus between 135th and 148th Streets.

At all times until July 16, Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations are closed for rehabilitation. Free shuttle bus service is available to adjacent stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, Manhattan-bound 4 trains skip Fordham Road due to asbestos abatement at 183rd Street and Kingsbridge Road stations.

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 17, there are no 5 trains between 149th Street and East 180th Street due to switch replacement north of East 180th Street station. Customers may take the 2 instead.

From 4 a.m. Saturday, March 17 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 18 (and weekends through April 8), Manhattan-bound 6 trains run express from Parkchester to Hunts Point Avenue due to track panel installation south of Parkchester station.

A
From 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, Brooklyn-bound A trains run on the F line from West 4th to Jay Street due to signal modernization work at Chambers Street station.

AC
From 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, there is no C train service due to signal modernization work at Chambers Street station. A trains will make all local stops between 168th Street and Euclid Avenue except where indicated.

A
From 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, downtown A trains skip 50th, 23rd, and Spring Streets due to station rehabilitation at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.

D
From 11 p.m. Friday, March 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, Bronx-bound D trains run express from 145th Street to Fordham Road due to track concrete pour of 155th Street station.

F
From 11 p.m. Sunday, March 18 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19, Manhattan-bound F trains skip 169th Street, Sutphin Blvd. and Van Wyck Blvd. due to electrical work north of 169th Street station.

G
From 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 16 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 19 (and weekends through May 28), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to electrical and cable work north of Nassau Avenue station.

RW
The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
