Service Advisory Weekend Subway Changes Affecting Service on the 345ACDEFGJNQRW

Because of capital construction work on the NYC Transit subway system, the following changes will be in place over the weekend. This work is part of NYC Transit's ongoing $10 billion Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16 (and the following weekend Apr 21-23), 3 trains are rerouted to the 137th Street station. Shuttle buses replace 3 trains between 125th Street and 148th Street due to ADA station work at 135th Street. There is a second shuttle bus from 137th Street-Broadway 1 to 135th-Lenox Avenue, 145th Street-Lenox Avenue and 148th Street.

At all times until July 16, Kingsbridge Road and 183rd Street stations are closed for rehabilitation. Free shuttle bus service is available to adjacent stations.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Manhattan-bound 34 trains run express from Utica Avenue to Atlantic Avenue due to cable installation at Nostrand Avenue.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Manhattan-bound 4 trains run express from Burnside Avenue to 125th Street due to signal cable installation at 149th Street.

From 6 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Bronx-bound 4 trains skip Fordham Road, Bedford Park Blvd., and Mosholu Parkway due to station rehab work at 183rd Street, Kingsbridge Road, and Mosholu Parkway.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16 (and weekends through May 14), uptown 45 trains skip Fulton Street due to Fulton Street Transit Center construction.

AC

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16 (and weekends through May 5-7), A trains run local between 168th Street and Canal Streets. There is no C train service. Shuttle buses replace A service between Utica Avenue and Jay Street due to replacement of roadbed and track infrastructure in downtown Brooklyn.

D

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Manhattan-bound D trains skip 155th Street due to cable installation between 161st Street and 155th Street.

E

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, there are no E trains between West 4th Street and World Trade Center due to signal work at Chambers Street. Customers should take the A instead.

ER

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Queens-bound ER trains run express between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue due to track and roadbed replacement at Steinway Street.

EFQ

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, the F train runs on the E line between 47th-50th Streets and Roosevelt Avenue. Q trains made F stops between Lexington Avenue-63rd Street and 21st Street-Queensbridge. This is due to fan plant work north of 47th-50th Street.

F

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Coney Island-bound F trains skip 4th Avenue, 15th Street-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway due to ADA work at Church Avenue.

G

From 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 13 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16 (and weekends through May 28), there is no G train service between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Court Square due to asbestos abatement between Parsons-Archer and Jamaica-Van Wyck stations and track and roadbed replacement at Steinway Street. Customers should take the E or R.

J

From 4 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 15 (and weekends through April 29), shuttle buses replace J trains between Jamaica-Van Wyck E station and Broadway Junction due to track panel installation at cypress Hills Street and switch rehabilitation at Alabama Avenue.

NR

From 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16 (and the following weekend Apr 21-23), Brooklyn Bridge-bound NR trains are rerouted over the Manhattan Bridge from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue due to structural tunnel rehab work between Prince and Whitehall Streets.

Q

From 7 a.m. Saturday, April 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, April 16, Manhattan-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park due to asbestos abatement work.

The Cortlandt Street Station is closed until further notice while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey continue to build on the WTC site.
