Update: Weekend Track Work on J Line Saturday Only

Subway service along the J line in parts of Brooklyn and Queens will be replaced by free shuttle bus service for three consecutive weekends starting on April 14th allow for rehabilitation work. DUE TO WEATHER PREDICTIONS OF HIGH WINDS, THIS WEEKEND'S WORK WILL OCCUR ON SATURDAY, APRIL 14TH ONLY, FROM 4 A.M. TO 10 P.M. J service will be normal for the remainder of the weekend.

For the next two weekends, April 21-22 and April 28-29, service will be suspended between 4 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m. Sunday for the replacement of track on the elevated structure. This work will allow for the continued safe operation of trains along the line as part of MTA NYC Transit's on-going efforts to keep the subway network in a state of good repair.
