Rail Links, shuttles, and ferries
A variety of dedicated buses, shuttles, and ferries are available to connect Metro-North stations with nearby communities. These services are timed to connect with Metro-North trains to and from Grand Central. Discounted joint UniTickets are available, and monthly UniTicket holders on some services are eligible for the NYSDOT-sponsored 511NY Rideshare Guaranteed Ride Program.
Changes to Newburgh-Beacon connecting service in January 2026
New, expanded Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Shuttle bus service will begin on January 2, 2026. It will build upon and replace the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry Rail Link substitute bus service, which will be discontinued on December 31, 2025.
