Rail Links, shuttles, and ferries
A variety of dedicated buses, shuttles, and ferries are available to connect Metro-North stations with nearby communities. These services are timed to connect with Metro-North trains to and from Grand Central. Discounted joint UniTickets are available, and monthly UniTicket holders on some services are eligible for the NYSDOT-sponsored 511NY Rideshare Guaranteed Ride Program.
Changes to Newburgh-Beacon connecting service
New, expanded Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Shuttle bus service began on January 2, 2026. It builds upon and replaces the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry Rail Link substitute bus service, which was discontinued on December 31, 2025.
