After hosting annual successful pop-up sales since 2021, New York City Transit will once again hold a Memorabilia and Collectibles Pop-Up Shop on October 8 and 9. You can purchase perfectly imperfect items—subway signs, grabholds, retired fleet memorabilia, and more—in person, without processing fees.
Dates and times
Dates for walk-in shopping:
- Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Friday, October 9, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Time information:
- Gates will close promptly at 2 p.m.
- Attendees will have a window of 45 minutes to shop, out of courtesy to other attendees.

The event will take place outdoors.
Waivers and registration: Like last year, this year's Pop-Up Shop will accept walk-ins only. Waivers and registration will be completed when you arrive at the Pop-Up Shop.
Reservations and attendance: Reservations for shopping times are not available. The event is open to the public, including MTA employees.
Shopping and payment:
- We will accept only Visa and Mastercard for payments. There are no processing fees.
- Cash is not accepted.
- This event is pick-up only. We will not ship items.
