Raphael Batista

Violinist Raphael Batista’s musical career began at the age of four in the Christian Congregation Church in Brazil. At age twelve, he studied at the State Music Conservatory Cora Pavan Caparelli Uberlândia - MG with Professor Cássio Henrique Martins. He later performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Music Conservatory Cora Pavan Caparelli and was a violinist of the Federal University Orchestra from Uberlândia.

Raphael has performed at many prestigious Brazilian music festivals, such as the International Music Festival Colonial and Ancient of Juiz de Fora. He also performed with the Brazilian Philharmonic at the Sala Sao Paulo and as Spalla violinist of the Orquestra do Juiz de Fora Festival.

Raphael Batista has participated in master classes with nationally and internationally renowned violinists including, Bernard Zinck, Olle Bohn, Eliane Tokeshi, Fredi Gerling, as well as with soloists Nelson Freire, Antônio Meneses, and Maria João Pires.
