2025 Holiday Fair to Feature the Grand Central Gift Shop, Uncommon Goods Pop-Up, Inciardi Mini-Print Vending Machines, and Over 35 Artisan Vendors

Grand Central Will Be Home to the Holiday Train Show, Thanksgiving Market, and More Than 85 Premiere Shopping and Dining Options

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) officials today announced the return of the annual Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair, starting Nov. 10 and continuing through Dec. 24, 2025. More than 35 local small businesses and artisan merchants will join Grand Central Gift Shop and Uncommon Goods in the historic Beaux-Arts Vanderbilt Hall. A rotating pop-up inside the Biltmore Room and more than 85 surrounding shopping and dining options will offer even more ways to shop locally throughout the season.

The Holiday Fair will run for six weeks, featuring an eclectic mix of handcrafted goods — from home decor and jewelry to art, apparel, and artisanal fragrances. Whether looking for a distinctive hostess gift, a unique keepsake, or a cozy winter essential, the Holiday Fair offers an elevated selection of gifts found only at Grand Central Terminal.

The fair will be open seven days a week from Nov. 10 through Dec. 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays; closed on Thanksgiving; open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“It is always exciting to welcome back the Holiday Fair which makes Grand Central Terminal more enchanting than it already is,” said Metro-North Railroad President Justin Vonashek. “It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the grandness of Grand Central while experiencing a New York tradition and finding one-of-a-kind gifts.”

“The Grand Central Holiday Fair captures the magic of the season while supporting small business and artists from across the region,” said Grand Central Terminal Director of Retail Leasing and Management Kim Trevisan. “Come find the perfect gift for loved ones, or have a meal you’ll never forget at any of the dining experiences available at Grand Central Terminal.”

“The Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair has become a highly anticipated and beloved holiday tradition here in Midtown just like the Rockefeller Christmas tree, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the holiday themed window displays that adorn our major shopping stores,” said Grand Central Partnership President and CEO Fred Cerullo. “So, if you plan to spend some in the city for the holiday season and travel here by subway, Metro-North or Long Island Rail Road, make sure you start your visit by stopping by the Holiday Fair as well as our stores and restaurants here in and outside of the Terminal.”

Opportunities for experiences abound with high-profile dining additions, notably Palladino’s Steak & Seafood, overlooking Grand Central Terminal’s main concourse, and Tracks Bar & Grill in Grand Central Madison. From elegant dining at Grand Brasserie, Cipriani Dolci, and Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant to cocktails at The Campbell and quick bites in the Dining Concourse, the Terminal offers an unmatched array of dining experiences for every visitor.

Other experiences across Grand Central Terminal this holiday season include:

  • Uncommon Goods Holiday Pop-up Store: A New York original brand with a devoted national following since 1999, they’re showcasing a curated collection of artfully imagined gifts—from joyful surprises for kids to thoughtful picks for hosts, partners, and the hardest-to-shop-for. Blending creativity, craftsmanship, and a touch of holiday magic, each piece is made to spark delight and make every moment feel a little more special.
  • Inciardi Mini-Prints at Holiday Fair: A fan favorite returns to Grand Central, now bigger than ever. Following last year's hit vending machine activation, Inciardi Prints joins the Holiday Fair for the first time with a full booth featuring five vending machines and over 30 brand-new collectible mini prints, including limited-edition designs created exclusively for Grand Central.
  • The Grand Central Gift Shop: The store returns to the Holiday Fair along with a brick-and-mortar location in Graybar Passage offering home wares, apparel, and charming souvenirs, including jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, magnets, hats, keychains, and more! This unique Grand Central-branded collection offers perfect gifts for anyone with a special place in their heart for the Big Apple.
  • New York Transit Museum’s Holiday Train Show:
    • Celebrating its 21st year of operation, the New York Transit Museum’s Grand Central Gallery welcomes back its annual Holiday Train Show, a cherished tradition that captures the magic of miniature trains and New York City during the holidays. • To mark the 40th anniversary of MTA Arts & Design, the 2025 display features work by artists James Yang and Erin K. Robinson, whose bold illustrations bring a fresh creative spark to this beloved holiday tradition.
    • The show opens on Thursday, Nov. 13, and runs through February 2026. Open 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; closed on major holidays.

About Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal is one of America’s greatest transportation hubs and one of New York City’s most iconic buildings. Grand Central Terminal is the terminus of Metro-North Railroad, and home to a number of boutique restaurants, cocktail lounges, a gourmet market, and many specialty shops. In 2023, Grand Central’s historic footprint was expanded with the opening of Grand Central Madison, a 700,000-square-foot terminal and concourse designed to service the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). LIRR access into Manhattan’s east side was the most transformative expansion of LIRR service in over a century. For more on Grand Central Madison, visit https://new.mta.info/grandcentralmadison.
