The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced service plans for the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 16.
For those traveling during the holiday, service details are below.
New York City Subway
All subway lines and the Staten Island Railway will operate on a Saturday schedule.
There will be planned service changes on Monday on several subway lines. Customers are advised to check the MTA app or mta.info/alerts for further information and to help plan their trip.
New York City Buses
Most local and express buses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx will run on a Saturday schedule.
Most local and express buses on Staten Island will operate on a reduced weekday schedule.

Access-A-Ride
Paratransit will operate full 24/7 service throughout the day.
Long Island Rail Road
LIRR will operate on a Sunday schedule with off-peak fares in effect all day.
Metro-North Railroad
East of Hudson: the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines will operate a Saturday schedule.
On the Port Jervis Line, Metro-North will operate a weekend service with three additional trains.
The Pascack Valley Line will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
Please note for West of Hudson service: a temporary trackwork schedule takes effect on Sunday, Feb. 15. As a result, several connecting trains between Penn Station New York and Secaucus Junction will depart Penn Station earlier than they normally do on Monday. Customers are advised to check the NJT website or app for schedule information.
The Hudson Rail Link buses at Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale, the Haverstraw-Ossining ferry as well as the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Shuttle will not operate.

Bridges and Tunnels
MTA Bridges and Tunnels will operate with normal weekday lane closures.
