Fans Can Get to Games via Subway, Commuter Rail, Bus, and Paratransit
Additional “Yankee Clipper” Trains to the Game will Run Before and After Games on the Harlem and New Haven Lines
Added Hudson Line Service Will Operate To and From the Stadium
With the first Yankees-Mets match up of 2025 regular season taking place at Yankee Stadium on Friday, May 16, Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, Metro-North Railroad is adding additional service to help fans get to the stadium. New York City Transit will also provide subway service from multiple lines as it does for all Yankees games.
Metro-North's Yankee Clipper
Metro-North Railroad’s “Yankee Clipper” trains are special game-day trains which provide one-seat rides from the Harlem and New Haven lines to Yankees-E 153 St station for all evening and weekend home games.
In addition to the Yankee Clipper trains, Metro-North operates shuttle trains for all games, including weekday day games, between Grand Central Terminal, Harlem-125th Street, and Yankees-E 153rd Street stations for fans departing from Manhattan, who are transferring at Grand Central from the LIRR or who are transferring at Harlem-125th Street station from Harlem and New Haven line trains.
For all games, Metro-North also adds a stop at Yankees-E 153rd Street station to many Hudson Line express and local trains to provide more options for fans traveling to and from the game.
Special direct Yankee Clipper trains will run on the Harlem and New Haven Lines to Yankees-E 153rd Street.
Take your ticket with you when you exit the train. Agents will be in the station to check tickets.
Schedules and fares are available on the MTA TrainTime app and the MTA website. Off-Peak fares apply for travel to and from Yankees-E. 153rd St Station for all three games.

The Bx6, Bx6 SBS, Bx13 stop right in front of the stadium at E. 161st Street and River Avenue. The Bx1 and Bx2 both stop at E. 161st Street and the Grand Concourse, a three-block walk to the stadium. The BxM4 stops at the Grand Concourse and E. 161st Street (northbound) and E. 158th Street (southbound).
Customers can use the real-time bus ridership tracking feature on the MTA app before boarding.
Access-A-Ride
Access-A-Ride paratransit has a designated stop at Yankee Stadium located on East 161st Street at Macombs Dam Bridge near Gate 4.
To book a trip customers can use MY AAR online or in the MTA app or call AAR at (877) 337-2017. When booking with an agent, customers should indicate they would like to be dropped off at the Yankee Stadium AAR Bus Stop.
