Access-A-Ride (AAR) customers can save time by booking trips using MY AAR. With MY AAR, customers can access their contact information, make reservations, check the status of their trips, and manage subscriptions. MY AAR also allows customers to monitor their vehicle’s real-time location and arrival time prior to their pick-up time. Additionally, customers can use MY AAR to track their trip (while on the vehicle) and determine their estimated arrival time. AAR agents remain available to book our customers’ trips from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

How to access MY AAR
MY AAR is accessible via computer, tablet, or smartphone, online or on the MTA app.
Once the MTA app is downloaded, access MY AAR via the icons at the bottom of the screen. Tap the icon with the letters AAR and an image of an accessible vehicle to access MY AAR.
Signing in to MY AAR
You must have received AAR eligibility to use MY AAR. If you haven't yet applied for paratransit services, follow these instructions to apply.
Returning users
Enter your AAR ID and password and click "Sign In." If you forgot your email or password, click on the links located above the login button.
Please check the email associated with your AAR account and add AARNoReply@nyct.com to your email contacts to ensure the email does not go in your spam folder.
New users
Select the "Sign up" link. Enter your information, create a password, complete the security check, and confirm your account via email.

Using MY AAR
Book, manage, and take trips using MY AAR
You can make reservations, check the status of your trips, and manage your subscription trips on MY AAR.
You can also monitor your vehicle’s real-time location and arrival time prior to their pick-up time, and track your trip while in the vehicle.
See trip information
Once you log in to MY AAR, scroll down to the “Your Trips” widget.
- Upcoming trips: Click the “Upcoming” tab to view your next two trips. To see more than two upcoming trips, click “See all upcoming trips”, which will open the “All of your trips” page.
- Past trips: Click the “Past” tab to view your last two trips. To see more than two past trips, click “See all past trips”, which will open the “All of your trips” page.
To see additional details about each trip, click on the “>” at the right of the trip information on the “All of your trips” page.
Manage your account
Once you log in to MY AAR, click on the “My Account” icon in the upper-right corner. Here, you can view your personal details, contact information, emergency contacts, and your equipment and support needs.
To edit any of these sections, click the “Edit” button at the right of the section.
Your name, date of birth, and equipment and support sections can only be updated by calling AAR.
Email contact information
MY AAR may list two different emails for you, one that is used to sign in to MY AAR, and another that’s used to send you notifications.

Sign-in email: This is the email address you used to apply for AAR. It is associated with your MY AAR online account.

Notification email: This email address is used to send notifications on trips or subscriptions and can be different from your sign-in email. Once you designate an email address as your notification email, check the checkbox next to “Use for Email Notifications” to receive trip notifications at this email address.
