If you're traveling to JFK airport this weekend, note that trains aren't running to Howard Beach-JFK Airport. Take trains to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport.
Here's what's happening on the subway this weekend (also viewable as a map):
- trains aren't running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, and are running in two sections.
- trains aren't running between E 180 St and Bowling Green.
- On Sunday morning, trains aren't running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards.
- trains aren't running between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd or Howard Beach-JFK Airport.
- Inwood-bound and 168 St-bound trains are running on the from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Wash Sq.
- trains aren't running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
- trains aren't running between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs.

Major subway service changes
trains, the Bronx and Manhattan
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains aren't running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, and are running in two sections:
- Between Woodlawn and 149 St-Grand Concourse, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- Between Crown Hts-Utica Av or New Lots Av and 125 St, local in Manhattan, and on the to/from 3 Av-138 St.
- trains aren't running between E 180 St and Bowling Green.
- trains are running between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- trains are running every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
This is because of electrical work.
- For service between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse, take the .
- For service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, take free shuttle buses, which are running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 3 Av-138 St , stopping at 138 St-Grand Concourse.
- For service between 125 St and Bowling Green, take the .
- Consider taking the or for service between the Bronx and Manhattan.
- Metro-North is accommodating subway riders at no additional cost for travel between the Bronx and Manhattan at all stations between University Heights or Wakefield and Grand Central.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
From 5:45 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday, trains aren't running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards because of urgent repair work.
- For service between Queens and Manhattan, take trains.
- For service between Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and Queensboro Plaza, take free Q93 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- For service between Times Sq-42 St and 34 St-Hudson Yards, take free Q92 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations.
trains, Brooklyn and Queens
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains aren't running between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd or Howard Beach-JFK Airport and are running in two sections:
- Between Inwood-207 St and Euclid Av.
- Between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and Far Rockaway-Mott Av.
This is because of track maintenance.
- For service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd or Howard Beach-JFK Airport, take free shuttle buses, which are running along two routes:
- Local, making all stops between Euclid Av, Lefferts Blvd, and Howard Beach-JFK Airport.
- Express between Euclid Av and Howard Beach-JFK Airport, stopping at Aqueduct-North Conduit Av in the Euclid Av-bound direction.
- When exiting the subway at Euclid Av or Howard Beach-JFK Airport, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For service to JFK Airport , take trains to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport.
trains, Brooklyn and Manhattan
Inwood-bound and 168 St-bound trains are running on the from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Wash Sq from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For High St, use nearby York St .
- For service to/from Fulton St, take the or use nearby World Trade Center .
- For service to/from Chambers St/World Trade Center, Canal St, and Spring St, take the or a downtown .
trains, Brooklyn
trains aren't running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av from 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Monday because of accessibility work.
- For service between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take free shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- When exiting the subway at Church Av or Coney Island-Stilwell Av, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For direct service between Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, take trains.
- For service to/from W 8 St-NY Aquarium, take the .
- trains are running between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.
trains, Brooklyn and Queens
trains aren't running between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization.
- For service between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs, take free B98 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- When exiting the subway at Court Sq, Lorimer St (Metropolitan Av), or Bedford-Nostrand Avs, get a GO Ticket from a station agent for re-entry.
- trains are running between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Church Av.
Other subway service changes
trains, Queens
Flushing-bound trains are running express from 74 St-Broadway to Mets-Willets Point from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Monday because of station work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
- At Junction Blvd, all trains are boarding from the Manhattan-bound platform.
- trains are running every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
trains, Queens
Forest Hills-bound and Jamaica-bound local trains are running nonstop from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to Forest Hills-71 Av from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from these stations, take a Manhattan-bound local train.
trains, Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, downtown trains aren't stopping at 23 St and 14 St because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take an uptown train.
trains, Brooklyn
Manhattan-bound trains are running nonstop from Myrtle Av to Marcy Av from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of station work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Queens-bound train.
Long Island Rail Road service changes
City Terminal Zone
From 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday, westbound trains aren't stopping at Forest Hills or Kew Gardens and westbound trains from Jamaica aren't stopping at Woodside. This is because of accessibility work.
- Westbound trains are running nonstop from Jamaica to Manhattan. Port Washington Branch trains are still stopping at Woodside.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take the subway.
- Show your LIRR ticket to enter the subway at no additional cost at Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport , Kew Gardens-Union Tpke , Forest Hills-71 Av , or Woodside-61 St .
