Major subway service changes
trains, the Bronx and Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains are running in two sections:
- Between Pelham Bay Park and 125 St, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- Trains are running nonstop from Hunts Point Av to 3 Av-138 St in the Manhattan-bound direction
- Between 125 St and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
- Trains continue to/from 149 St-Grand Concourse , bypassing 138 St-Grand Concourse in the 149 St-bound direction.
This is because of electrical work.
- Transfer at 125 St to continue your trip.
- For service to/from bypassed stations between Hunts Point Av and 3 Av-138 St, take a Pelham Bay Park-bound train.
trains, Queens
trains aren't running to/from Flushing-Main St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from Flushing-Main St, take free T321 shuttle buses, which are running between Mets-Willets Point and Flushing-Main St.
- trains are running between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Mets-Willets Point, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
trains, Brooklyn and Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- Bay Ridge-bound and Coney Island-bound local trains are running on the from Canal St to DeKalb Av.
- At Canal St, Bay Ridge-bound and Coney Island-bound local trains are stopping at the platform.
- During late nights, trains aren't running between Whitehall St-South Ferry and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr in either direction, and are running nonstop between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St in both directions.
- Late-night trains are running between Bay Ridge-95 St and 36 St and nonstop to/from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
- trains are running every 10 minutes during the day and evening.
This is because of track replacement.
- For service to/from bypassed stations in Manhattan, use nearby or stations.
- For service to/from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, use nearby Borough Hall .
- During late nights:
- For service to/from DeKalb Av, take trains.
- For service between Union St and 25 St, take trains.
trains, Brooklyn
trains aren't running between Prospect Park and Coney Island-Stillwell Av from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service between Prospect Park and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take free shuttle buses, which are running along two routes:
- Local, making all stops between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy.
- Express, running nonstop between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy and making all local stops to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
- When exiting the subway at Prospect Park, W 8 St-NY Aquarium, or Coney Island-Stillwell Av, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For direct service between Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn, and Coney Island, take trains.
- trains are running between 96 St and Prospect Park.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
Forest Hills-bound trains are running on the from 57 St-7 Av to 36 St from 7:45 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday because of signal maintenance.
- For service to/from 5 Av/59 St and Lexington Av/59 St, take the .
- For service to/from Queens Plaza, take the or use nearby Queensboro Plaza .
Rockaway Park Shuttle, Queens
Rockaway Park Shuttle trains aren't running from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization.
- For service between Beach 90 St and Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St, take free shuttle buses, which are running between these stations and connecting to Beach 67 St .
Other subway service changes
trains, Brooklyn
Manhattan-bound and local trains are running nonstop from Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Flatbush Av-bound or New Lots Av-bound or local train.
trains, the Bronx
Manhattan-bound trains are running nonstop from E 180 St to 3 Av-149 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Wakefield-bound or Eastchester-bound .
trains, the Bronx
Manhattan-bound trains aren't stopping at Mosholu Pkwy and Bedford Park Blvd-Lehman College from 6:45 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Woodlawn-bound train.
trains, Brooklyn
Euclid Av-bound and Queens-bound local trains aren't stopping at Ralph Av and Rockaway Av from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from these stations, take a Manhattan-bound local train.
trains, Queens
Manhattan-bound and local trains are running nonstop from Forest Hills-71 Av to Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of accessibility work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Forest Hills-bound , Jamaica Center-bound local, or Jamaica-bound local train.
Long Island Rail Road
City Terminal Zone
From 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday, eastbound trains aren't stopping at Forest Hills or Kew Gardens and eastbound trains toward Jamaica aren't stopping at Woodside. This is because of accessibility work.
- Eastbound trains are running nonstop from Manhattan to Jamaica. Port Washington Branch trains are still stopping at Woodside.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take the subway.
- Show your LIRR ticket to enter the subway at no additional cost at 34 St-Penn Station , Grand Central-42 St , Woodside-61 St , Forest Hills-71 Av , and Kew Gardens-Union Tpke .
Metro-North Railroad
New Canaan Branch
Trains aren't running between Stamford and New Canaan Saturday and Sunday because of bridge updates.
- For service between Stamford and New Canaan, take shuttle buses, which are running between these stations.
