A heads up for riders in Brooklyn: From Monday morning through mid-March, Manhattan-bound trains won't stop at Newkirk Av-Little Haiti because of station work. Check Planned Service Changes for details.
Here's what's happening on the subway this weekend (also viewable as a map):
- trains aren't running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, and are running in two sections.
- trains aren't running between E 180 St and Bowling Green.
- trains aren't running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards on Sunday morning.
- trains aren't running between Inwood-207 St and 168 St.
- trains aren't running between 168 St and 145 St.
- Downtown trains are running on the after 5 Av/53 St to 2 Av.
- Queens-bound trains are running on the from 2 Av to W 4 St-Wash Sq.
- trains aren't running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
- trains aren't running between Lorimer St and Broadway Junction and are running in two sections.
- Bay Ridge-bound trains are running on the from Canal St to DeKalb Av.

Major subway service changes
trains, the Bronx and Manhattan
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains aren't running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, and are running in two sections:
- Between Woodlawn and 149 St-Grand Concourse, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- Between Crown Hts-Utica Av or New Lots Av and 125 St, and on the to/from 3 Av-138 St.
- trains aren't running between E 180 St and Bowling Green.
- trains are running between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- trains are running every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
This is because of switch replacement.
- For service between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse, take the .
- For service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 St, take free shuttle buses, which are running between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 3 Av-138 St , stopping at 138 St-Grand Concourse.
- For service between 125 St and Bowling Green, take the .
- Consider taking the or for service between the Bronx and Manhattan.
- Metro-North is accommodating subway riders at no additional cost for travel between the Bronx and Manhattan at all stations between University Heights or Wakefield and Grand Central.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
From 6:45 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday, trains aren't running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards because of urgent repair work.
- For service between Queens and Manhattan, take trains.
- For service between Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and Queensboro Plaza, take free Q93 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- For service between Times Sq-42 St and 34 St-Hudson Yards, take free Q92 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations.
trains, Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains aren't running between Inwood-207 St and 168 St.
- trains are running between 168 St and Queens.
- trains aren't running between 168 St and 145 St.
- trains are running between 145 St and Euclid Av. At 145 St, trains are stopping at the lower level platform.
This is because of track replacement.
- For service between Inwood-207 St and 168 St, use nearby stops or take free shuttle buses, which are running along two routes:
- On Broadway between Inwood-207 St and 168 St.
- On Fort Washington Av between 190 St and 168 St.
- For local service between 168 St and 145 St, take the , which is running local between these stations all weekend.
trains, Manhattan
From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains are rerouted in Manahttan:
- Downtown trains are running from Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer to 5 Av/53 St, then on the to/from 2 Av.
- Queens-bound trains are running on the from 2 Av to W 4 St-Wash Sq, then resuming normal service.
- Downtown and local trains are running express from 59 St-Columbus Circle to Canal St.
This is because of signal maintenance.
- For service to/from 7 Av, take the .
- For service to/from 50 St and 23 St, take an uptown or local train.
- For service to/from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal, 34 St-Penn Station, and 14 St, take an or uptown train.
- For service to/from W 4 St-Wash Sq, take trains.
- For service to/from Spring St, take an uptown or local train.
- For service to/from Canal St and Chambers St (World Trade Center), take trains.
trains, Brooklyn
trains aren't running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av from 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Monday because of accessibility work.
- For service between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take free B90 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- When exiting the subway at Church Av or Coney Island-Stilwell Av, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For direct service between Manhattan or Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, take trains.
- For service to/from W 8 St-NY Aquarium, take the .
- trains are running between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.
trains, Brooklyn
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains aren't running between Lorimer St and Broadway Junction and are running in two sections:
- Between 8 Av and Lorimer St, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
- Between Broadway Junction and Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy, every 10 minutes during the day and evening.
This is because of track replacement.
- For service between Lorimer St and Broadway Junction, take free shuttle buses, which are running on two routes:
- L90 between Lorimer St and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs, making all stops.
- Between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs and Broadway Junction, making all stops.
- For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, consider taking trains.
trains, Brooklyn and Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- Bay Ridge-bound and Coney Island-bound local trains are running on the from Canal St to DeKalb Av.
- At Canal St, Brooklyn-bound and local trains are stopping at the platform.
- During late nights, trains aren't running between Whitehall St-South Ferry and 59 St.
- Late-night trains are running between 59 St and Bay Ridge-95 St.
This is because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations in Manhattan, use nearby or stations.
- For service to/from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, use nearby Borough Hall .
- During late nights:
- For service to/from DeKalb Av, take trains.
- For service between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St, take trains.
- For service to/from 45 St and 53 St, take the .
Other subway service changes
trains, Queens
Flushing-bound trains are running express from 74 St-Broadway to Mets-Willets Point from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Monday because of station work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
- At Junction Blvd, all trains are boarding from the Manhattan-bound platform.
- trains are running every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
trains, Queens
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound trains aren't stopping at Sutphin Blvd and Jamaica-bound trains aren't stopping at Briarwood because of urgent repair work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
trains, Brooklyn
Jamaica Center-bound and Middle Village-bound trains are running nonstop from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of structural work.
- For service to/from these stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
trains, Queens
Astoria-bound trains are running nonstop from Queensboro Plaza to Astoria Blvd from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of station work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
Long Island Rail Road service changes
Hempstead Branch
From 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 3:30 a.m. Monday, Hempstead Branch trains aren't running because of signal work.
- For service to/from Hollis, Queens Village, or Elmont-UBS Arena:
- Eastbound, take a Huntington train.
- Westbound, take MTA buses, which are accepting LIRR tickets between these stations and Jamaica.
- Event attendees traveling to/from UBS Arena can also transfer to an eastbound train at Jamaica or Mineola at no additional charge. View the schedule.
- For service to/from Floral Park, take a Huntington train.
- For service to/from Stewart Manor, Nassau Boulevard, Garden City, and Hempstead, take shuttle buses, which are running between these stations and Mineola.
- For service to/from Bellerose and Country Life Press, take NICE buses, which are accepting LIRR tickets on nearby routes.
