Whether you choose to cool off at a pool, play around at a city park, or bask in the sunshine on a car-free street during Summer Streets (in Manhattan this Saturday!), public transit can get you where you need to go.

Major subway service changes
trains, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains aren't running between 14 St and South Ferry.
- trains are running between Van Cortlandt Park-242 St and 14 St, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
- trains aren't running between 34 St-Penn Station and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College.
- trains are running between 34 St-Penn Station and E 180 St and on the to/from Eastchester-Dyre Av, every 10 minutes during the day and evening.
- trains are suspended.
- trains are running between Woodlawn and New Lots Av, making local stops in Brooklyn (except Hoyt St).
- trains are running between E 180 St and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College, making local stops in Brooklyn (except Hoyt St), and on the to/from Wakefield-241 St.
- 42 St Shuttle is running overnight.

- Take the for service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St.

- For service between Harlem-148 St and 135 St, take free shuttle buses, which are making all stops between these stations.
- For service between 34 St-Penn Station and 14 St, take the .
- For service between 14 St and Chambers St, use nearby stations.
- For service between Chambers St and South Ferry, and Chambers St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, take nearby trains.
- In Brooklyn:
- Take trains for service between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College.
- Take the for service to New Lots Av.
- Take the for service to Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College.
trains, Brooklyn
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains aren't running between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av because of electrical work.
- trains are running in two sections:
- Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
- Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts, every 20 minutes.
- Transfer at Bedford-Nostrand to continue your trip.
- For service to/from stations between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av, take trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Jay St-MetroTech, and transfer to/from the .
- Manhattan-bound trains are running express from Kings Hwy to Jay St-MetroTech during this time.
trains, Brooklyn and Manhattan
From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- trains are running on the between Canal St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr in both directions.
- trains are running on the between Canal St and DeKalb Av in both directions.
This is because of structural maintenance.
- trains are stopping at the platform at Canal St.
Other subway service changes
Several trains are skipping stops in one direction from Friday night to early Monday morning, unless otherwise specified. For service to/from skipped stops, take a train going the opposite direction.
- From Saturday early morning to Sunday night, Woodlawn-bound trains aren't stopping at Bedford Park Blvd-Lehman College and Moshulu Pkwy.
- The last stop for some Woodlawn-bound trains is 167 St.
- From Saturday early morning to Sunday night, Manhattan-bound trains are running nonstop from Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester.
- The last stop for some Bronx-bound trains is 3 Av-138 St.
- Manhattan-bound trains are running express from Kings Hwy to Jay St-MetroTech.
