The holiday season isn't yet in full swing, but if you're passing through Grand Central, this is the first weekend the Holiday Fair and the New York Transit Museum Holiday Train Show are open—a great way to spend a bit of extra time before or after your train.

Major subway service changes
trains, the Bronx
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Sunday:
- trains aren't running between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St.
- trains are running between E 180 St and Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College.
- trains aren't running between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St.
This is because of structural rehabilitation.
- For service between Wakefield-241 St and E 180 St, take free shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
- For service between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St, take free T113 shuttle buses, which are running between these stations making all stops.
trains aren't running between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse Saturday and Sunday because of structural maintenance.
- For service between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse, take the .
- trains are running between Bowling Green and 149 St-Grand Concourse and on the nonstop to/from Burnside Av every 20 minutes.
trains, Queens
trains aren't running to/from Flushing-Main St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from Flushing-Main St, take free T321 shuttle buses, which are running between Mets-Willets Point and Flushing-Main St.
- trains are running between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Mets-Willets Point, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
- Note: This service change will repeat each weekend through November 24.
trains, Manhattan
Uptown trains are running on the from W 4 St-Wash Sq to 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, use nearby stations or take uptown trains.
- trains are running local between 59 St-Columbus Circle and Canal St all weekend.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
Brooklyn-bound trains are running on the from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to 5 Av/53 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For service to bypassed stations, and service from 21 St-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Island, take a Jamaica-bound .
- For service from Lexington Av/63 St, take the .
- For service from 57 St, use nearby 57 St-7 Av .
trains, Brooklyn and Manhattan
From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday:
- Bay Ridge-bound and Coney Island-bound local trains are running on the from Canal St to DeKalb Av.
- At Canal St, Bay Ridge-bound and Coney Island-bound local trains are stopping at the platform.
- During late nights, trains aren't running between Whitehall St-South Ferry and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr in either direction, and are running nonstop between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 36 St in both directions.
- Late-night trains are running between Bay Ridge-95 St and 36 St and nonstop to/from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
- trains are running every 10 minutes during the day and evening.
This is because of track replacement.
- For service to/from bypassed stations in Manhattan, use nearby or stations.
- For service to/from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, use nearby Borough Hall .
- During late nights:
- For service to/from DeKalb Av, take trains.

trains aren't running between Prospect Park and Coney Island-Stillwell Av from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service between Prospect Park and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take free shuttle buses, which are running along two routes:
- Local, making all stops between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy.
- Express, running nonstop between Prospect Park and Kings Hwy and making all local stops to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
- When exiting the subway at Prospect Park, W 8 St-NY Aquarium, or Coney Island-Stillwell Av, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For direct service between Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn, and Coney Island, take trains.
- trains are running between 96 St and Prospect Park.
Other subway service changes
trains, the Bronx
Manhattan-bound trains aren't stopping at 138 St-Grand Concourse from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from this station, take an uptown train.
- All trains are boarding from the uptown platform at 149 St-Grand Concourse.

Manhattan-bound trains are:
- Running nonstop from Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of structural work.
- Running express from Parkchester to 3 Av-138 St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.

Brooklyn-bound trains are running express from Fordham Rd to 145 St from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.

Hempstead, Port Jefferson, and Ronkonkoma branches
Eastbound trains aren't stopping at Hollis and Queens Village and some eastbound trains aren't stopping at Elmont-UBS Arena from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Monday because of accessibility work.
- For service to/from Hollis and Queens Village, take MTA buses, which are accepting LIRR tickets for travel between Jamaica, Hollis, and Queens Village. View a map of your route options and learn more about transferring at the Jamaica Bus Terminal.
- For service to/from Elmont-UBS Arena, use Schedules or TrainTime to plan your trip.
Montauk Branch
Trains aren't running between Speonk and Montauk from 10:30 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Monday because of track maintenance.
- For service between Speonk and Montauk, take shuttle buses, which are running between these stations.
